Title: VP of IT/CIO
Compensation: $175,000-$215,000 plus 20% bonus structure + PE incentive model
Location: Indianapolis, IN with hybrid model flexibility

Our client is a PE backed $50M healthcare services organization with multiple locations across multiple states. They are in a unique industry doing highly rewarding work with a team of approximately 500 employees. They have headquarters in Indianapolis and are retooling their corporate functions to support a rapid expansion and growth period. For IT, this means re-evaluating the strategic roadmap, assessing current function performance, and driving security, privacy, and related as catalysts for growth and scale.
Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a VP of IT/CIO to lead all aspects of the IT organization including overseeing the IT department in addition to ownership of the overall technology strategy including the creation and implementation of the technology portfolio roadmap. This position is a direct report to the CEO and an integral part of the senior business leadership team in a “roll up sleeves” type of senior leadership culture.
We are specifically seeking an IT Leader with experience leading broad healthcare IT transformation to include EMR/EHR modernization, platform integrations, creation of core data strategy frameworks, and past experience leading the modernization of the full technology environment as it supports core business, field, and clinical operations. We are seeking an IT leader that will have a direct role in driving core initiatives with direct execution ownership and IT team leadership while being a trusted technology advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team. This role will drive measurable business and IT outcomes through technology innovation and modernization.
Desired Experience:
- Healthcare IT leadership experience leading EHR/EMR, data strategy, IT operations, core IT teams and, related IT portfolio
- Experience in creating data solutions strategies in healthcare environment; architecture, implementation, and performance
- Proven history of building data, AI, and related process automation as a core tenant of overall technology environment
- Ownership of EHR/EMR platform configuration, design, performance, integrations, and useability improvements
- Entrepreneurial mindset and secure in a PE business environment as a direct CEO report in a growth-oriented culture
- Experience working in a small-midsized healthcare patient care environment or a division of a larger health care network a plus
