Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a Director of IT to be responsible for all areas of corporate Information technology. This role will be a direct report to the CEO and serve as a part of the company’s senior leadership team. We are seeking an IT leader with previous experience creating company-wide IT structure across core IT functional areas while implementing a high-performance IT operations environment.
We are specifically seeking a leader that has developed corporate IT structure across major IT domains to include applications, ERP, data, infrastructure, end point performance, and related. We are seeking an IT leader that combines hands-on technical leadership and implementation with a long term best practices IT strategy that aligns to core business objectives.
Desired Attributes:
- Previous IT Leadership experience across all areas of IT as a direct report into business leadership at a CXO level
- Previous experience building IT structure from a relative greenfield state
- Hands-on IT leader that sets overall strategy while driving tactical implementation and IT operations performance
- Experience leading a small and diverse IT team, managing IT vendor relationships, and leading IT tactical and strategic initiatives
- Experience developing corporate IT strategy and tactical IT roadmap collaboratively with executive team
- Willingness to “roll up sleeves” as hands on SME and IT leader in all aspects of IT strategy and delivery
